Wind Turbines

So here is the scoop! On February 5,2014 @ 7:00 in the Town Council Chambers, a Special Use Permit is going to be heard. So big deal you say? It is for two 411 ft. tall wind turbines off of Route 117 in the Western end of town. Off of Route 117 which is where all of the parts to build them will be used for it is the only access road. The logging trucks for 18 months will be going back and forth on Route 117 , so beware in the mornings.  In our townpeople only have to notify 200ft of such a project according to the by-laws. So, we the lucky people in this 200 ft, know what the scoop is. Which in the center of Coventry is allot of people but up in the western end is three or four family's. So just to let everyone know they are welcome to attend this meeting and ,oh just to let you know these are the same size as the ones in North Kingstown behind the train parking garage. Located by the Walmart, take a drive by there and check them out. If these go through you will see them on Arnold Road!
