CRANSTON, RI — A house fire in Cranston early Friday morning left two elderly men dead, according to fire officials.

Fire officials said the fire started inside a home on Whitewood Drive around 2:30 a.m. The flames have since been put out, but investigators remain at the scene trying to determine the cause of the fire.

Authorities have not identified the two victims.
