$750,000 Renovation at Alpine Country Club Completed

The project included remodeling the member dining room, among other improvements.

Architecture firm Saccoccio & Associates recently completed a $750,000 renovation at the Alpine Country Club in Cranston.

The project included remodeling the member dining rooms, refurbishing the men’s and women’s locker rooms and improvements to the pool area. The club also added a new recreation room, complete with a state-of-the-art golf simulator and sports entertainment center.

“We are excited to be able to provide an enhanced experience for our members through these renovations,” said Jeff Beier, General Manager of Alpine Country Club. “It has been almost 25 years since our Club has undertaken such substantial changes, but now our members will have even more to look forward to when visiting Alpine.”

Cranston-based Saccoccio & Associates principal Mark Saccoccio oversaw the project, which was completed in just over six weeks.

Opened in 1961 Apline Country Club is an equity member-owned club with over 350 family memberships. It is managed by Troon Prive and features an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Geoffrey Cornish, a full driving range and practice putting green, golf shop, private men’s and women’s lockers rooms, indoor and outdoor dining, and adult and children’s swimming pools.

The club has also made a number of changes to serve members, including vertical membership privileges for stockholders, opening the doors for their children, parents and grandparents a chance to use the club for no extra charge. The club also relaxed its denim policy to allow jeans in the club. The times that members can walk the course instead of using carts has also been expanded.
