8 Assault Charges In 3 Days: Cranston Police Arrest Log

CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between May 15 and May 17.

May 15

9:08 p.m. — Sheri Figueroa, 39, of Providence, was charged with domestic breaking and entering of a dwelling house without consent.

9:32 p.m. — Jaywon Siyan, 18, of Cranston, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property.

9:55 p.m. — Meredith Cronin, 23, homeless, and Oakley Therrien, 27, homeless, were charged with shoplifting and conspiracy after a call for service at the Walmart on Plainfield Pike.

May 16

11:27 a.m. — Eric Knowles, 52, of Cranston, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a schedule I-to-V drug under 10 grams and two Superior Court bench warrants. Police said the arrest was made after an officer found a stolen vehicle.

10:10 p.m. — Orlando Diaz, 24, of Providence, was charged with three counts of simple assault/battery and one count of disorderly conduct.

May 17

6 a.m. — Erick Morales Rodriguez, 35, of Providence, was charged with obstruction of an officer in the execution of duty and tampering with motor vehicles. Police said the arrest happened after a call for service on Batcheller Avenue.

10 a.m. — Jose Diaz, 24, of Providence, was charged on a Cranston police warrant with three counts of simple assault and one count of disorderly conduct. Police said Diaz turned himself in.

11 a.m. — Gian Mattiello, 29, of Cranston, was charged on a Cranston police warrant with duty to stop in an accident that resulted in damage to an attended vehicle. Police said Rhode Island State Police arrested him and turned him over to the Cranston headquarters.

6:22 p.m. — Kelly Beth Clayton,58, of Cranston, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct. Police said the arrest came after a call for service on Dyer Avenue.

7:03 p.m. — Matthew Foss, 40, of, Johnston, was charged on a Cranston police warrant with simple assault. Police said Foss' arrest came after Johnston police picked him up.

9:40 p.m. — Nazaski Carrasco, 31, of Providence was charged on a Cranston police warrant with reckless driving and obstruction. Police said North Providence officers picked up Carrasco on the warrant.
