Wanted Brooklyn Man Arrested In Rhode Island: Cops

A wanted Brooklyn man was arrested in Rhode Island, police said.

Tykendu Richardson, 26, was arrested Wednesday by the Rhode Island State Police Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations Unit, the state police said in a media release.

Richardson was a fugitive from justice in New Jersey, according to the release.

"Mr. Richardson was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he waived extradition Richardson and was remanded into the custody of the Sherriff's Department pending his return to New Jersey," the release said.
