City and state officials are weighing repair or replacement, seeking federal funding, and planning a public forum so residents can weigh in on long-term drainage fixes.
   

• DOC: Weekend water issue at ACI 'resolved within two hours' (wpri.com) — In Cranston's Adult Correctional Institutions, inmates in one minimum-security housing unit temporarily lost running water Saturday morning due to a localized problem. Corrections officials say maintenance responded quickly, resolving the issue within about two hours after social media posts raised concerns about water quality and inmates' ability to shower safely.
   

• Weekend Nor'easter Recap (turnto10.com) — Cranston saw more than five inches of rain during this past weekend's nor'easter, putting it among the hardest-hit Rhode Island communities. The storm dumped multiple inches across the state and southeastern Massachusetts, along with strong coastal wind gusts that topped 70 mph on Block Island.
