Back To School: Cranston 2022-23 School Calendar

CRANSTON, RI — Back-to-school planning has already begun in the Cranston area, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Cranston Public School District.

The first day of school for K-12 students is Monday, Aug. 29.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its two year-and-a-half point.

As of Tuesday, July 26, Cranston Public Schools has no plans to require masks in school, regardless of vaccination status.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

First Day: Monday, Aug. 29

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-25

Winter Break: Dec. 26-Jan.2

February Vacation: Feb. 20-24

April Vacation: April 10-April 14

Last Day: June 15
