Cranston Applebee's Fire Deemed 'Accidental': Reports
Officials said the fire happened after there were "issues" during the hood cleaning process, according to WJAR.

CRANSTON, RI — The fire that destroyed a Cranston Applebee's one week ago has been deemed accidental, according to multiple reports that cite the state fire marshall's office.
The fire was reported at 5:30 a.m. Sept. 16 at the Applebee's at Garden City in Cranston, WPRI reported. Cranston fire officials said they were able to contain the fire so it didn't destroy nearby buildings, but that the Applebee's was a "total loss."
