Cranston Detective Off to Austria for Special Olympics Torch Run
Detective Eric Leclerc left on Tuesday for Austria to participate in the "Final Leg" of the Special Olympics World Winter games Torch Run.

CRANSTON, RI—These past few days have been busy for Cranston Det. Eric Leclerc. On Saturday and Sunday, he took the Super Plunge challenge at Salty Brine Beach to raise money for Special Olympics. That meant he jumped into the cold water once an hour for 24 hours in advance of Sunday's Torch Run Plunge.
Now, he's headed for Austria to participate in the final leg of the Torch Run for the Special Olympics World Winter Games. He left the airport on Tuesday.
