Cranston East, West Football Teams Prep For Thanksgiving Game

CRANSTON, RI — The fall sports season may be winding down. But local high school football teams still have at least one more round of action left on their schedules before the end of 2022.

Cranston East and Cranston West's varsity football teams will head to Cranston Stadium on Thursday for its annual Thanksgiving rivalry game.

Cranston West (6-3), who made it to Division II RIIL semifinals, will look to finish a good season on a strong note.

Cranston East finished 1-8, but will look to finish the season with an upset against their hometown rivals.

Kickoff for this week’s Thanksgiving game is set for 10 a.m., Thursday, at Cranston Stadium.
