New Fire Engine Joins Cranston Fire Department's Fleet
Cranston residents can expect to see Engine 4 out on calls in just a few weeks.

CRANSTON, RI — The Cranston Fire Department on Friday received a delivery — a new fire rescue engine.
The new fire engine was purchased using nearly $700,000 of bond money, which was approved by voters in the 2022 election last November.
Cranston Mayor Ken Hopkins said the engine will be equipped with essential gear, and then firefighters will complete training on the new vehicle. Residents can expect to see Engine 4 out on calls in just a few weeks.
