Owner Adam Kattan told ABC6 he actually ran out of gas for a short time. He said his station holds 11,000 gallons.

“This has never happened before,” he told ABC6.

Rhode Island gas prices this week hit an average of $2.30—down more than a dollar from a year ago, according to AAA Southern New England. The national average is currently about $2.12.

Prices will likely continue to fall through June, Bloomberg reported.
