Cranston Ice Rink Destroyed by Storm

Among the casualties in Tuesday morning’s powerful storm that rocked the Cranston area was the ice rink on Phenix Avenue.

The rink, commonly referred to as the Bubble Rink, has seen its share of damage over the years, including a fire and collapse of the inflatable roof structure.

The extent of the damage is unclear and crews are busy across the city clearing downed trees and limbs.
