Cranston Causes Drunken, Wrong-Way Head On Crash, Injuring Woonsocket Woman: RISP
RI State Police say Carlos Gonzalez Carrillo, 38, injured a 28-year-old Woonsocket woman in a drunken crash on Route 146 in Lincoln.

CRANSTON, RI — A Cranston man was arrested Friday night after Rhode Island State Police said he injured a Woonsocket woman in a drunken, wrong-way head-on crash on Route 146 in Lincoln.
Carlos Gonzalez Carrillo, 38, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and/or drugs.
Around 10:50 p.m., state police responded to a 911 call about a head-on collision on Route 146. State police said the wrong-way driver, later identified as Carrillo, was driving south in the northbound lane when he collided with a vehicle being driven by a 28-year-old Woonsocket woman.

The woman was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to state police.
Carrillo was arrested at the scene. State police said Carrillo consented to a breathalyzer test, and his blood alcohol level results were 0.187 and 0.183. Carrillo was held overnight at the Lincoln Woods Barracks pending an arraignment on Saturday morning.
