Cranston Man Charged With Check Fraud In 'Large Amounts,' Police Say
He surrendered to the law and was arrested, police said.
CRAMSTON, RI — A Cranston man was charged with check fraud in "large amounts," police said.
Chase Pomeranz, 39, was arrested shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday on a charge of fraudulent checks — large amounts, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Pomeranz surrendered at the Hope Valley Barracks, was processed, arraigned and released with a notice to appear in court, according to police.
