Cranston Police: Search Underway For Armed Robbery & Home Invasion Suspects
After a high speed chase and crash, the suspects fled on foot and then a woman in a minivan picked them up.

CRANSTON, RI—Police are looking for three Hispanic males connected to an armed robbery Saturday at the Pontiac Food Mart and a home invasion on Gladstone Street. On Sept. 13, at 8 a.m. Ofc. Robert Skodras was on
patrol in the area of Pontiac Avenue and noticed a newer model grey
Honda Civic with a distinct front license plate that Cranston Police
Detectives were looking for.
The Honda was used in the armed robbery at the Pontiac Food Mart, 527 Pontiac Ave. It also figured in a violent armed home invasion on September 11 at 173 Gladstone St.
Ofc. Skodras saw three Hispanic males inside the car as it was traveling north at the intersection of Pontiac Avenue and Rolfe Street. He attempted to stop the
car, but it sped away. Police chased the car north on Pontiac Avenue and
onto Route 10 North. After the suspects took the Reservoir Avenue off ramp, the pursuit continued north on Reservoir Avenue and ultimately onto Elmwood Avenue where the car later crashed into a tree and a brick building.
