One Dead In Cranston Route 10 Crash
Police said the car crossed two lanes of traffic, went off road and crashed into a tree.
CRANSTON, RI — State Police have confirmed one of the two people hospitalized following a Monday morning crash on Route 10 has died.
The crash was a single-car accident. Police said the car crossed two lanes of traffic, went off road and crashed into a tree, killing Marcel Odom, 24, of Providence.
Both Odom and the other person in the car were taken to Rhode Island Hospital, but Odom succumbed to his injuries. The other person was released from the hospital after being treated for injuries.

State police said the crash happened at about 6:55 a.m., near the exit to Interstate 95.
Morning commutes were heavily delayed because of the crash, but police said the road was cleared by 8:45 a.m.
