Cranston School Budget Hearing Thursday Draws Crowd
The City Council's hearing on the public school budget drew so many people the meeting had to be moved to the Cranston East Auditorium.

CRANSTON, RI — So many people turned out at Thursday night's city council hearing on the budget, the meeting had to be moved from City Hall to Cranston East Auditorium, according to Schools Supt. Jeannine Nota-Masse. She took to Twitter to chronicle the night's progress.
Please come out tonight @ 7pm in City Council chambers for a hearing to discuss our $1.7 million deficit for the 2017-18 budget.
