Community Update

Recently I wrote on our Commissioner of DOE's FB page and a teacher who read it, ignored what I had to say and said "you should learn how to write and SPELL because it reflects ignorance!!"   Well…you can imagine how I felt.  I took a breath and thought of what I wanted to write…but didn't. I simply said, sorry but I have Dyslexia and often teachers aren't able to recognize these symptoms because we haven't given them the tools.  He apologized.  That's what we are about, educating and I don't apologize anymore, I just say oops, wink and explain.
