Di Pasquale Stays as CCRI President

Ray Di Pasquale, Community College of Rhode Island President will stay at the helm of the school for the foreseeable future.

The Cranston Herald reported that Di Pasquale withdrew his name from consideration for commissioner of higher education in Louisiana on October 9. He was one of three candidates for the post.

The Louisiana Board of Regents announced the selection of Dr. Joseph C. Rallo as the 8th Commissioner of Higher Education.

According to a release issued by the regents, Dr. Rallo is the Special Advisor for Global Engagement at Texas Tech University. He previously served as the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs for the Texas Tech University System. Rallo will oversee 38 institutions with more than 217,000 students.
