About Mai Thai Cuisine
Mai Thai Cuisine is a family-owned and operated full service authentic Thai restaurant with a full bar; established in 2015. Chef and owner Savitree Vasco along with her husband David are both Johnson & Wales graduates and formally owners of Siam Square Thai Restaurant in Riverside. After a small break in giving birth to two wonderful boys, an opportunity to continue her passion for Thai cooking has brought her to Smithfield and Mai Thai Cuisine was born. Her sisters & co-owners Suchittra and Naree also provide many years of restaurant experience within American and Thai cuisines. 3 years later in the late summer of 2018, a 2nd location was established in Cranston; our hometown!
Mai Thai Cuisine offers a wide array of authentic exotic Thai food dishes incorporated with our very own homemade recipes developed through generations. Our diverse and flavorful menu has something for everyone, from mild to hot, vegetarian or not. One of the keys to the preparation of our wonderful food is the use of fresh ingredients, herbs and spices. We hope you will enjoy our food. We’ve been working hard to bring the best of the Thai spirit to the charming state of Rhode Island.
