From town councils to school committees, here's a look at Rhode Island's contested local races.
PROVIDENCE, RI — The polls are closed in Rhode Island, marking the end of the 2020 General Election. Alongside the national elections, Rhode Islanders also cast their votes for their local governments, deciding who will serve as mayor, on the city or town council and on school committees.
The Rhode Island Board of Elections posted partial mail ballot results just after 1 a.m. Breakdowns for posted races are available online.
