The Rhode Island Parent Information Network (RIPIN), headquartered in Cranston, RI, and STOP Bullying Now! RI have joined forces and will be hosting an event this spring to help end bullying across Rhode Island.
On April 17, 2011, the groups will sponsor a Stop Bullying Family Fun Day and Pep Rally at the Cumberland Monastery, 1464 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. The day will feature activities for the entire family including bullying expert presentations, entertainment, celebrity guests, crafters, food, "touch-a-truck," mini-golf, hoop dancing and more.
