CRANSTON, RI โ€” The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Jan. 12 and Jan. 15.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in, as well as the time of the arrest, were only omitted when not provided by police.

8:30 p.m. โ€” Taina Gonzalez, 39, of Whitinsville, Massachusetts, was charged with simple assault or battery and disorderly conduct. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service to an apartment on Oaklawn Avenue.

8:32 p.m. โ€” Michael Provorse, 18, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault.

Jan. 14

3:01 p.m. โ€” Kulh Lizarda, 36, of Johnston, was charged with shoplifting. Lizarda was also arrested on a warrant out of the Westerly Police Department. Cranston police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service to the Lowe's on Garfield Avenue.

4:12 p.m. โ€” Darnell Taylor, 34, of Providence, was charged with larceny over $1,500. Police said the arrest stemmed from a follow-up investigation.

5:24 p.m. โ€” Elaine Buco, 58, of Pawtucket, was charged with felony shoplifting and habitual offender shoplifting. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service to the Marshall's on Oaklawn Avenue.

11:18 p.m. โ€” Jessica Cedeno, 36, of Providence, was charged with shoplifting after a larceny complaint at the Walmart on Plainfield Pike.

11:52 p.m. โ€” Hannah Atma, 27, of Cranston, was charged with DUI (first offense) and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop on Phenix Avenue.

Jan. 15

7:21 a.m. โ€” David Millar, 60, of Cranston, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct.

8:26 a.m. โ€” Isaac Johnson, 39, of Danvers, Massachusetts, was arrested on a warrant out of the Woonsocket Police Department. Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop in the area of Cranston Street and Vallone Street.
