Fire At Cranston Apartment Complex Displaces 11 People
The fire at the Mansion House Apartments on Oaklawn Avenue displaced nine adults and two children, according to the American Red Cross.
CRANSTON, RI — Nearly a dozen people were displaced after a fire at an apartment complex in Cranston on Monday afternoon, according to city fire officials.
Fire officials said they were called to the Mansion House Apartments on Oaklawn Avenue just after 4:30 p.m. for a report of smoke coming from the building. Everyone inside escaped, and no injuries were reported.
A spokesperson for the American Red Cross said the organization is helping the 11 displaced residents. Among those displaces were four families, including nine adults and two children.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
