Governor Leads Free College Rally at Cranston East Wednesday Morning
Gov. Raimondo is following up on her State of the State address with a rally at Cranston High School East, her office said.

CRANSTON, RIโAfter highlighting her free college plan during Tuesday night's State of the State Address, Gov. Raimondo is seizing an opportunity to rally students behind her.
She will host a Free College Rally at Cranston East at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 18).
Joined by Education Commissioner Ken Wagner and seniors at Cranston East High School, she will go over her "proposal to knock down the financial barriers to obtaining a college degree by providing two years of free college to all Rhode Islanders," her office said.

"Raimondo's plan guarantees two years of free college for every Rhode Island student at who graduates on time from the Community College of Rhode Island, Rhode Island College and the University of Rhode Island, beginning with high school seniors who graduate this spring."
