It's Not Over Yet: More Snow Coming Sunday into Monday

Early forecasts show 2 to 4 inches could fall by Monday.

It is the winter that just won’t quit.

Another round of snow is expected to hit Rhode Island Sunday night and into Monday morning, capping off the snowiest February on record with another fresh coating that could total 2 to 4 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

The overall impact of the storm will come nowhere near the major storms that pummelled the Ocean State earlier this winter.

Snow should begin Sunday afternoon and the sky won’t clear until Monday during the day. Temperatures will be a bit milder, however, should top out in the mid 30s by Monday afternoon.

Though the high on Wednesday will be what at this point seems like a balmy 40, don’t celebrate quite yet. Next week will be peppered with wintry weather including sleet and freezing rain on Tuesday, rain on Wednesday that could change over to snow into Thursday.
