Lapenta Named General Manager of The Loft Salon

Loft Salon has a new general manager.

Kathy O. Lapenta, comes to Loft Salon in Cranston after spending 23 years managing a staff of 80 as general manager of spa operations at Foxwoods Resort and Casino.

“I am so pleased to be a part of this wonderful, new facility,” Lapenta said. “We have an ambitious goal of becoming the go-to place for creative, friendly services in a luxurious atmosphere.”

The salon opened fairly recently and is located at 481 Pontiac Ave. in Cranston.

The facility spans three floors and offers what is described as a “full menu” of beauty and health services and products.

“In addition, we are opening on Mondays, which is unusual in the salon industry, to serve those individuals, especially in the food service industry, whose only day off may be Monday,” Lapenta said.

Along with her experience at Foxwoods, Lapenta has served as a salon consultant in Providence, Massachusetts and Palm Springs, Calif.
