Local Bakery Offers Free Bread To Federal Employees
Rainbow Bakery on Reservoir Avenue is offering furloughed employees free baked goods during the prolonged shutdown.

CRANSTON, R.I. -- As the federal shutdown stretches onto its 34th day, local businesses continue to step up. Rainbow Bakery on Reservoir Avenue is offering furloughed employees free baked goods.
According to a Facebook post by the Cranston Herald, a sign in the window reads that federal employees can receive a free loaf of bread, six bagels, or six rolls. Federal IDs are required.
