Man Charged With Stealing $750k From RI, Mass. ATMs
A Florida man has been arrested after police say he fraudulently withdrew nearly $750,000 from area ATMs.
A Florida man was arrested in Seekonk, Massachusetts on Thursday after police said he stole nearly $750,000 from ATMs across two states. Dean Colin, 26, of Miami is facing charges of larceny, credit card fraud and possession of falsely embossed credit cards.
According to Seekonk Police, Colin made fraudulent withdrawals from ATMs in Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts. Police received a tip around 8:35 p.m. on Thursday that a man matching Colin's description was attempting to withdraw money from a Seekonk bank's ATM.
The Seekonk Detective Division, along with other federal and state agencies, searched Colin's vehicle and hotel room, where they found just under $66,000 in cash.

Colin was arraigned on Friday in Bristol County Court on two counts of larceny over $1,200 by false pretense, possession of four or more falsely embossed credit cards and two counts of credit card fraud and was ordered held on $500,000 bail.
