Man Dines at Twin Oaks, Leaves with Waiter's Jacket

A customer of Twin Oaks helped himself to an employee's Bruins jacket recently and the restaurant is hoping to track it down.

Updated: The jacket has been returned.

Twin Oaks in Cranston is a culinary landmark here in Rhode Island. It’s known for many things, including large portions that often result in doggie bags being taken home.

One customer at the restaurant recently decided to take something else home with him: an employee’s coat.

“Here we go again,” a restaurant employee said on their Facebook page, referring to a string of odd thefts from the restaurant in recent years that included a wreath from the outside of the building and a patio table.

Police have been notified about the most-recent incident and loyal customers were incensed to find out that a waiter’s jacket was stolen.

“Jeez...probably didn’t tip either....karma” said Tracy Vallarine Falco in one of the few comments that could be posted on this website.
