Man Hit, Killed On I-95 North In Pawtucket
The man was walking on the highway in the early afternoon and was hit by oncoming traffic, according to Rhode Island State Police.
PAWTUCKET, RI — An unidentified man was killed in a crash on Interstate 95 North in Pawtucket on Sunday, Rhode Island State Police said. The victim was walking in the travel lanes when he was hit in the early afternoon.
The crash happened near Exit 27 around 12 p.m., police said. The man was hit by oncoming traffic and killed instantly. He has not yet been identified, pending notification of his family.
The crash is still under investigation, police said.
