New Warwick Ice Cream Flavor Benefits Hasbro Children's Hospital
The company calls the "Every Child, Every Day" flavor "a cool treat that will warm your heart."

WARWICK, R.I. — A new ice cream flavor is joining the ranks of "Moonstone Beach Vanilla," "Del's Lemonade" and "The Blizzard of '78." Warwick Ice Cream, known for its fun, Rhode Island-themed flavors, has debuted a new flavor to benefit Hasbro Children's Hospital. A portion of the sales of all pints of "Every Child, Every Day" will go towards improvements for the hospital.
"We want to help them continue to provide world-class support to patients," said Thomas Bucci of Warwick Ice Cream.
Bucci said that the hospital reached out to Warwick Ice Cream around Christmas to see if they would be interested in contributing to their newly-launched "Every Child, Every Day" initiative. Excited to be able to help the community, the immediately began developing a new flavor in the Hasbro's honor.

"This is one of the most meaningful projects we've worked on," Bucci said. "I don't know if anyone--us or Hasbro--knows how powerful this will be. It's more than an ice cream."
Warwick Ice Cream will be featured in this year's Hasbro Radiothon on April 4, when they plan to further discuss the flavor and where it can be found. It is set to be released to the public on May 27.
"Warwick Ice Cream is proud to partner with Hasbro Children's Hospital as it celebrates 25 years of caring for our community's children," the company wrote on Facebook. "We hope you enjoy this specially made treat knowing you're making a difference for the kids!"
Warwick Ice Cream has been a Rhode Island staple for the past 89 years, and holds the distinction of being the only company in the state to make all of its ice cream from scratch. It was founded in 1930 by Bucci's great-grandfather, Charlie Bucci. The full history is available on the company's website.
