No School in Cranston on Thursday

Cranston parents looking forward to a child-free household Thursday - here’s some bad news.

School is cancelled Thursday as digging out operations at all of the city’s school buildings continue.

The decision is also reflective of a desire among officials to ensure that routes to school are safe. As it stands, most of Cranston’s sidewalks are still covered in snow.

Many school parking lots are also inundated with snow.
