It's official — there is no school for Cranston students Friday Jan. 3 due to the impending snowstorm that could drop upwards of a foot of snow before the end of the day.
And if your child can't handle not being in a learning environment on Friday, brace them for more bad news: all branches of the Cranston Public Library will be closed on Friday because of the winter storm, too. The library reopens on Saturday.
