Raimondo, McKee To Hold First Joint News Conference
This will be the first time Gov. Gina Raimondo has addressed the Rhode Island public since before Christmas.
PROVIDENCE, RI โ Gov. Gina Raimondo and Lt. Gov. Dan McKeee will hold a joint news conference Wednesday afternoon. This will be the first time the governor has addressed the Rhode Island public this year, and the first news conference since her introduction as President-elect Joe Biden's nominee for Secretary of Commerce.
Raimondo's last news conference was Dec. 22. Usually held weekly, the event was canceled the week between Christmas and New Year's, then again delayed by her return to coronavirus quarantine, followed by a trip to Delaware for Biden's announcement.
This will be the first time McKee will address the public at a coronavirus news conference.
