Rhode Island Kicks Off First-Ever Hotel Week

PRO to VIDENCE, RI — The Ocean State's first-ever Hotel Week kicks off starting next week. From Jan. 18 to 31, hotels across the state will offer rooms for $100 to $400 per night, considerably below the usual rates.

The promotion includes some of the state's most famous hotels, such as the Ocean House in Watch Hill. Awarded the prestigious five-diamond designation from AAA, nightly rates can run as high as $755 per night. During the promotion, rates have been slashed to just $400 per night.

The Hotel Viking, meanwhile, one of Newport's most famous venues, will cut its rates to just $100 per night.
