Rhode Island School Closings For Friday's Stormy Weather
See the Rhode Island school districts that will not have classes on Friday amid severe weather conditions.

RHODE ISLAND — School closings in Rhode Island are starting to be announced ahead of Friday's storm, as strong winds, coastal flooding and several inches of rain are expected to hit the Ocean State.
The storm will be nasty in every corner of the state, especially along the coast, with possible flooding in Newport, Portsmouth and Middletown, according to AccuWeather. The storm will also bring unseasonably warm temperatures in the 50s to the state on Friday.
But the warm-up will be brief. Temperatures will drop rapidly by Friday night and could drop into the teens.
