A restaurant and drive-thru are also part of the plans to build a TopGolf entertainment complex in Cranston.
CRANSTON, RI — Rhode Island will finally get a TopGolf sports and entertainment complex after years of development.
TopGolf, which is known for its driving ranges with interactive golf games, will have a groundbreaking ceremony on July 13 in Cranston at the site of the former Citizens Bank headquarters, a spokesperson for the Carpianato Group told WPRI 12.
Cranston Planning and Zoning approved the zoning change for the facility in December 2018. Then in January 2020, the City Council unanimously approved a final zoning change that allowed a restaurant, a drive-thru and more.
