RI State Police Offer $10k For Information About June 2 Arson
The Department of Administration was lit on fire early in the morning of June 2, during a night of violent demonstrations in Providence.

PROVIDENCE, RI — The Rhode Island State Police is offering a reward up to $10,000 for information related to arson at the Department of Administration during a night of violent incidents earlier this month.
The department is investigating the incident in conjunction with the Office of the State Fire Marshal and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The fire was set at the building at 1 Capitol Hill early in the morning of June 2, when crowds swept through downtown, looting stores, breaking windows and lighting fires.
Confidential tips can be submitted to the arson tipline at 401-383-7723. A reward up to $10,000 will be provided for information that leads to an arrest.
