RXBar Recalls Certain Bars Due To Undeclared Peanuts

The recall includes 15 varieties of bars, including several RXBar Kids snacks.

RXBar has recalled several varieties of bars due to reports of undeclared peanuts, according to the Rhode Island Department of Health. Anyone with a health allergy is at risk of an allergic reaction if they consume any of the products listed.

The varieties of bar included in the recall are:

  • RXBAR: Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Hazelnut, Chocolate Sea Salt, Coconut Chocolate, Coffee Chocolate, Mango Pineapple, Maple Sea Salt, Mint Chocolate, Mixed Berry, Pumpkin Spice
  • RXBAR Kids: Apple Cinnamon Raisin, Berry Blast, Chocolate Chip

The UPC code for affected products is available on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's website.

Two varieties of RXBars, Chocolate Seat Salt and Coconut Chocolate, were initially recalled in December. The recall is now being expanded to include all of the flavors listed above.

The Rhode Island Department of Health is encouraging anyone with the recalled products to discard them immediately and contact RXBar for a replacement or full refund. RXBar's customer service department can be reached by phone at 1-312- 624-8200 or by emailing info@rxbar.com.
