Tasca will Race for a Limited Schedule in 2015
Bob Tasca III said he'll be driving a Mustang and will drive with a yet-to-be-named sponsorship.

Bob Tasca III and the Tasca Racing Team announce that the seven-year NHRA Funny Car veteran will continue to drive his Ford Shelby Mustang racer in 2015 for a limited schedule with yet-to-be-named sponsorship.
“All season Ford fans from around the country have been asking me what I will drive next year,” Tasca said. “I’m happy to announce I’ll be in a Mustang! We are actively working with sponsors to determine how many races we will be running but whatever it ends up being the Tasca name will be on a Ford!”
Tasca’s family owns and operates one of the New England region’s leading Ford dealerships, Tasca Ford in Cranston, R.I. Tasca’s grandfather, Bob Tasca, Sr., introduced the Blue Oval to drag racing in the 1960s with his Cobra Jet 428.

Tasca III is a four-time winner on the NHRA Funny Car circuit and piloted the first Mustang that cracked the 3-second barrier with a 3.988 pass in Chicago last season.
