Truck Crash Backs Up Traffic On Rte. 146
Rhode Island State Police say a tractor-trailer crashed into a pickup truck near Branch Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
PROVIDENCE, RI – A two-truck crash on Route 146 South at Branch Avenue in Providence closed one lane and caused traffic backups Tuesday afternoon. According to Rhode Island State Police, a tractor-trailer collided with a pickup truck that had a car carrier attached to it around 3 p.m.
State Police say no serious injuries were reported, and no one was taken to the hospital.
Traffic quickly backed up, as emergency crews closed one lane while the crash was being cleared. As of 4 p.m., all lanes had been opened.
