Two People Injured In Weekend Shooting

Two people were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the incident.

PAWTUCKET, R.I. -- A Pawtucket man was arrested Saturday following a shooting that sent two people to the hospital. Jose Rodriguez, 30, faces charges of felony assault and more.

On Saturday morning, a shooting was reported at 560 Prospect St., apartment 365. Two people were injured in the incident and taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Rodriguez was charged with two counts of felony assault, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a crime of violence, alteration of marks of identification on a firearm and firing in a compact area.
