'Violent' RI Fugitive Captured In Puerto Rico After 4 Years
Omar Enrique Pagan, 29, is wanted for child molestation, indecent exposure and more.
PROVIDENCE, RI — After four years on the run from police, a violent fugitive was found in Puerto Rico on Tuesday. Omar Enrique Pagan, 29, is wanted for child molestation, indecent exposure and more.
A warrant has been out for Pagan's arrest since October 2014, when he failed to appear in Providence County Superior Court for charges of attempted breaking and entering, vandalism and disorderly conduct. In May 2015, an additional warrant was issued, charging Pagan with three counts of first-degree child molestation, second-degree child molestation, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.
That year, the Pawtucket Police Department asked the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force for their assistance in finding and arresting Pagan. Investigators later determined that he may have fled the country.
