Woman Charged after Urinating on Sidewalk During Traffic Stop

A 29-year-old Providence woman was arrested after she urinated on the sidewalk on Union Avenue in Cranston after officers stopped the car she was riding in for a traffic violation.

Police said Hollie Gomes, 29, of 48 Dartmouth Ave., was a passenger in a car during a traffic stop on Union Avenue at around 11:45 p.m. on Nov. 7 when she reportedly got out and urinated on the sidewalk.

She got out of the car as officers were issuing a summons for a traffic violation, police said, and Gomes was issued a summons to appear in court on Nov. 18 on charges of indecent exposure/disorderly conduct.
