18-Year-Old Cumberland Woman Found Dead

CUMBERLAND, RI — An 18-year-old Cumberland woman was found dead early Saturday morning, police said.

Officers called to a residence on Barrow near Minerva Avenue found Angelina Rocha unresponsive and determined she was dead, the Cumberland Police Department said in a media release.

Cumberland police detectives processed the scene with the assistance of Rhode Island State Police crime scene investigators and the "case is considered actively under investigation," according to the release.

In the release, Cumberland Police Chief Matthew J. Benson said the case "remains a highly active investigation at this time."
