Today's riddle: What gets bigger the more you take away? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• More RI tenants say they weren't warned their property manager was a sex offender (wpri.com) — Cumberland police are responsible for monitoring a high‑risk sex offender who lives in town, including tracking where he works, through the statewide OffenderWatch system. A wider investigation found several Rhode Island departments, including nearby Central Falls and Woonsocket, failed to notify tenants that this property manager was a registered Level 3 offender. State police are now working with all 39 municipalities to tighten notification practices.
• Biking 114 miles through 15 towns, powered by RI ice cream (providencejournal.com) — A long‑distance cyclist capped his 114‑mile, three‑path challenge with a hard‑earned scoop at Josie's Ice Cream on High Street in Cumberland, a longtime family favorite near the Blackstone River Bikeway. His route carried him through Pawtucket, Central Falls, and multiple towns, but he highlights Cumberland's off‑road bikeway stretch and local ice cream as the perfect finale before cruising back through town.
