• Wood Pawcatuck Watershed Association gets $350,000 state grant (progressive-charlestown.com) — Cumberland is getting a $275,000 state climate resilience grant to replace a failing culvert on Westwood Drive, improving flood protection and reconnecting stream and wetland habitat along West Sneech Brook. The funding is part of more than $2 million in statewide grants aimed at helping Rhode Island communities handle stronger storms, flooding, and other climate impacts.
• It was a busy Tuesday night of high school sports in RI.
