• As municipalities across Rhode Island resist Flock cameras, McKee orders review • Rhode Island Current (rhodeislandcurrent.com) — East Greenwich is now part of Rhode Island's expanding Flock license-plate camera network, with new units installed alongside Providence and North Kingstown. As Gov. Dan McKee orders a 60-day pause on further installations, state police, lawmakers, and the ACLU are clashing over how these cameras balance crime-fighting benefits with serious privacy and data-security concerns.
